El Venado SL28

This is our second time offering a coffee from Costa Rica’s Cerro San Luis Micromill.  This one is quite different from the last however.  The variety here is SL28, a variety originating in Kenya.  The white honey processing used here and terroir of Costa Rica’s west valley prove to have a significant effect on the resulting cup as compared to Kenyan offerings of the same variety.  The acidity is balanced and sweet notes are high.
